Talos

AI-assisted suggestions for your restaurant

Talos is the AI layer that works on the data in CENPRA's products. Every morning it explains in plain language whether anything unusual happened and shows why. It prepares order, production and transfer drafts, and asks for your approval before turning what it learns into a rule. It never makes up figures; every number has a known source.

How Talos works through the day

Talos works at set times through the day. In the morning Patrol checks the previous day and Reporter writes the summary; in the evening Planner plans the next day. You can ask questions at any time. Screens are from the product; brand and branch names are fictional.

  1. 01Assistant

    Ask the assistant

Ask, for example, 'Can you compare last week with this week?' and Talos runs its sales, branch and detailed analysis tools and shows which ones it used. It organises the answer under overall picture, channels, discounts, products and cash flow, and ends with a short conclusion.

  2. 02Chef's take

The Chef's take on the product card

Choose 'Ask the Chef' on a product card and Talos compares the product's last four weeks with others in its category, lists what could be done and calculates campaign pairings and expected extra sales. A measurement note says which data is certain and which is estimated.

  3. 03Patrol

A check of the previous day at 07:30

Patrol compares the previous day with the usual values of the last twelve weeks. It notes anything unusual, where it came from and what you should look at during the day. Something it cannot measure is marked 'could not be measured', never 'no issue'.

  4. 04Planner

    Tomorrow's plan at 17:00

Planner brings together items that have run out or are about to, preparation needs for busy hours, payments falling due and expected collections in one plan. If data is missing, it prepares the plan and says what is missing.

  5. 05Reporter

    End-of-day summary at 09:00

Reporter prepares the summary of the previous day: three priority topics, the day's revenue and orders, the collection gap and items that need attention. Each point shows which agent it came from.

  6. 06Culture

    Learning your business's habits

Habits such as 'this branch opens early and closes early' come to you for approval with their evidence, consistency and confidence level. Once approved, they become rules the agents always take into account; a rule that stops holding is removed.

Twenty-three business skills

Talos works with twenty-three business skills across sales and menu, operations, finance and external relations.

Sales, menu and profitability

Product sales analysis
Shows how much each product sold and how that compares with its usual level.
Menu engineering
Identifies the products that carry the menu, those that hold it back and those whose price or recipe should be reviewed.
Recipe cost
Shows how ingredient price rises affect plate cost and which recipes have become more expensive.
Campaign evaluation
Assesses whether a campaign really increased sales or only added discount cost.
Weekly business summary and period profitability
Calculates net profit after ingredients, staff and other costs. Estimated figures are labelled as estimates.

Operations

Stock control
Tracks critical stock levels and how long stock will last. Items without a threshold are shown as 'threshold missing', not as zero.
Count discipline
Checks whether counts are done, whether differences can be explained and which items keep showing differences.
Production planning
Prepares a production draft based on the next day's needs.
Inter-branch transfers
Looks at surplus stock in other branches before anything is bought.
Waste and voids
Tracks patterns in waste and voids, separating a one-day blip from an ongoing problem.
Daily plan and end-of-day summary
Prepares a plan in the morning and a summary in the evening, comparing against the same weekday over the last eight weeks.

Money

Till reconciliation
Checks that the till matches the records and reports any day that does not, by date.
Collections and cash flow
Tracks late collections, upcoming payments and the overall cash position.
Invoice control
Checks price, quantity and supplier consistency on every invoice entry.
Staff performance and labour ratio
Tracks payroll as a share of net revenue. Reports use pseudonyms instead of names.

External relations and working principles

Supplier management
Tracks on-time delivery, price changes and the supplier scorecard.
Reviews and reputation
Picks out recurring topics in guest reviews.
Business habits
A pattern that repeats in at least six of the last eight weeks is suggested as a business habit. Habits that stop holding are removed, so the list stays current.
Approval, permissions, tone and prioritisation
Suggestions come to you for approval, and each user sees results only for the branches they are authorised for. Topics are presented in order of priority, in plain language.
Benefits

What it brings to your business

Nothing Talos suggests is applied until you approve it.

01

Start the day knowing your priorities

Patrol's check is ready at 07:30 and Reporter's summary at 09:00, so you start the day knowing its priorities.

02

The system calculates the figures

The AI does not produce figures. Behind every statement you can see which tool used which data.

03

No action without approval

Order, transfer, production and payment suggestions are prepared as drafts. Nothing is sent to outside systems without your approval.

04

Learning specific to your business

A pattern that repeats in at least six of the last eight weeks is put forward as a suggestion. With your approval it becomes a rule, and it is removed if it stops holding.

05

Says clearly when data is missing

When there is no data it says 'could not be measured' rather than 'no issue', and marks results based on partial data as partial.

06

Plain language

It writes in full sentences, without jargon or blame: what happened, why, and what to do.

Let's start with one of your branches

Talos starts inside Brain, in one branch. As it gets to know your business, its suggestions become rules with your approval.
